Freedom For Youth – Waterless Car Wash Employment Program for young people

Freedom For Youth – A Youth Employment Program

Unemployed Youth is a population segment that has surged all across North America in the past year. This explosive growth in this particularly vulnerable population segment is cause for great concern.

Freedom Waterless Carwash is currently working with an environmental consulting firm to help redress this problem. Freedom Waterless Carwash product is an eco-friendly product that uses no water to clean a vehicle. Vehicles can be autos, buses, motorcycles, boats and even airplanes. Futhermore, the jobs created by this program qualify as “Green Jobs” because in addition to the product championing water conservation, it also eliminates toxic runoff into the watershed, as Freedom Waterless car wash products are non-toxic and 99% biodegradable.

It doesn’t require much imagination at all to dream up the kinds of mischief that young people, ages 16-24 can get involved in when they have too much time on their hands and not enough money in their pockets or their family’s coffers to feel safe and secure…and reassured that there’s a bright future ahead for them.

In the U.S., as of July ‘09, 18.5% unemployment rate in ages 16-24 is the highest on record for the nation, as reported by the Bureau of Labor Statistics. This is a dramatic spike since 2007. And in Canada, a recent CBC News report states that youth have been hardest hit by unemployment, the worst in 11 years. “Employment figures for June show a loss of 33,000 jobs among those 15 to 24 years old, rocketing the unemployment rate among young people to 15.9%.”

The Employment Policies Institute, a U.S. based, non-partisan research organization dedicated to studying public policy issues surrounding employment growth has conducted studies that determine,  “In addition to suffering from lower wages after experiencing an unemployment spell, many are subject to increased likelihood of future unemployment. Not only do they have higher chances of being unemployed, but also those spells are shown to be longer for those who were previously unemployed…Policies causing youth unemployment (even unintentionally) lead to tougher roads for those youths that are most vulnerable. Those experiencing unemployment at an early age have years of lower earnings and an increased likelihood of unemployment ahead of them,” said EPI’s Richard S. Toikka, Chief Economist.

The advantage of using Freedom Waterless Carwash to create jobs for use is that the system can be rolled out along existing infrastructure and requires little to no consumer behavior modification.  Example, the Car Wash Fundraiser often held at the local church, school or community center is common enough.  Using Freedom Waterless Carwash allows for even greater implementation by youth because 1) it does not require a water hookup   2) it does not require a power hookup or electric generator 3) it is eco-friendly, 99% biodegradable, safe for kids of all ages.

Dr. Thomas A. Mroz of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Dr. Timothy Savage state that,  “Policies causing youth unemployment can harm young adults for several years into the future. Far from being a fleeting annoyance, early unemployment has measurable, persistent effects that can be linked to the stagnation of human capital.”

Do you work with a church, community center, nonprofit, school, business, city or youth program?  Freedom Waterless Carwash would like to talk to you about your next fundraiser and also tell you more about this youth employment project.  Choose the eco-friendly option. Be kind to our kids while also being kind to the environment.

5 Reasons Why You Should Go Waterless

There are many reasons why using a “waterless car wash” product to clean your car, boat, motorcycle and RV is a good idea. Freedom Waterless Car Wash products are considered the best in the world. Here are 5 reasons why it is a good idea:

1. To Save Water:

According to the EPA & the International Car Wash Assoc., the average person will use 116 gallons of water while washing/ cleaning their car with soap and water. The average stand-alone “car wash” will use over 40 gallons of water per car and a lot of energy too. The soapy water used is sometimes called “grey water”. This semi-contaminated water goes down the storm drain, or is allowed to flush into the sanitary system. This effect the amount of water to be treated and put a possible strain in the system. Many times the water makes it into the environment in one fashion or another.

It only takes 2-4 ounces of the Freedom Waterless Car Wash product to clean, polish and protect the average size car. It is like a wash and wax at the same time. It is quick and easy to use. The soiled towels are cleaned in the washing machine and only take a few ounces of soap & water per towel. This is the future of car cleaning.

2. To Save Time:

Cleaning your car at the car wash takes a lot of time. You have to take the time to drive there, wait in line, pay, run it through the machine and out again. This machine will wash and sometimes dry the car. Your wait can range from 20-60 minutes.

When you use Freedom Waterless Car Wash, you don’t have to wait in line or drive somewhere to clean it. You can clean virtually anywhere/ any time, in the sun or the shade, on a wet or dry vehicle. It is fast and very convenient. Just spray on, rub in and gently it wipe off. The first time you use it, you will probably use too much product and it may take you 20 minutes. After your first couple of uses, it will go much faster. You will also notice the surface will be super slick and the anti-static properties will bounce the dirt off for weeks. This means you will clean your car less times per month and your car will great at all times. Touch up is very easy and even quicker.

3. Light-Duty Workout:

Freedom Waterless Car Wash products are very easy to use. Yes, easy on and easy off, resulting in a brilliant velvety shine. It requires no heavy buffing to wear your arm out. It is good exercise and it is a great way to get a light-duty workout.

4. The Value:

In the summer of 2009, we returned to a 32 ounce bottle from the old 24 ounce bottle. We gave our customers 8 ounces more cleaning product and did not raise the price. You can easily clean 5-10 vehicles with one 32 oz bottle. Compare this to the car wash and see what cost less and helps you keep your vehicle looking great!

5. Keep the value of your vehicle:

Cars cost much more than ever before. The current economic downturn has forced people to keep their cars much longer than they normally would. If you take good care of your car and clean and polish it regularly, you will have a higher resale value in the end.
